About Ballin' Academy
Ballin' Academy was founded in Spring 2012 by a group 6 high school students who realized their passion for coaching basketball. All of them had played both recreational and high school basketball throughout the years and brought years of coaching experience amongst them. Ballin' Academy is the product of their vision and consistenlty strives to instill the fundamentals of basketball on kids while emphasizing sportsmanship and respect.
Our Goal
Our goal is simple, to improve the overall basketball ability of all the players we coach while maintaining the significance of good sportsmanship and character throughout sports. We are much more than just a basketball program, we focus on creating well rounded players, players that play with 110% and line up to shake hands with their opposition regardless the outcome of each game. We remind our kids that skill is only a percentage of the equation, with smart heads-up play, the desire to improve and hard work anyone can improve.
Our Events
Ballin' Academy hosts a variety of basketball related events over the course of the year. We are known for our spring and summer basketball camps and private clinics which focus on one on one coaching as well as various group activities. Additionally we host trips to local sporting events, such as Golden State Warriors games in order to give our children the all around exposure of what basketball truly is. Our events focus on creating new friendships and bonds between players that they can take with them even off the basketball court, all while learning the fundamentals of basketball in an enjoyable yet effective manner.
Our Future
As you may realize, Ballin' Academy is still a very young organization, founded in the Spring of 2012 we are still looking to greatly expand across the Bay Area. Our future goals include hosting more events similar to the ones we have already hosted while catering to a larger audience. This includes more camps, clinics, and social events to bring the Ballin' Academy community together as one.
